Za radą terapeuty zaczyna prowadzić dziennik, w którym opisuje swoje emocje. Charlotte ma również pecha w miłości, umawia się na randki przez Internet, jednak ponosi na tym polu klęskę za klęską. W końcu trafia na idealnego mężczynę, a on – po lekturze jej dziennika – postanawia udowodnić jak bardzo mu na niej zależy. PLOT: Charlotte is a woman with anger management issues whose therapist suggests she write a journal to keep her emotions in check. Unlucky in love, she ventures online to find a boyfriend. Just as she reaches her limit of unsuccessful dates, Charlotte meets her soul mate Lyle.
